Elsa Coronation Included a machine embroidered skirt, boned bodice and a stretch velvet leotard, and her velvet coronation cape. She has a separate LED cape for her transformation into an Ice Queen 

Ice Queen Elsa has a chiffon skirt and a spandex boned bodice and lace net cape with appliqué.

First Hand duties include:

Snow Fairy: hand painted leotard with appliqué, tutu with hand painted appliqué and trim

Snowflakes: hand painted leotards with appliqué, under tutu, top tutu. Top tutu consists of several different materials pieced together into a "snowflake" design using a combination of french seams and regular seams, with hand painted ribbon trim over the seams. I traced, cut, pinned, and prepped the garment for all the different stages of production. I was in charge of making sure each of the fifteen girls had the correct skirt and leotard pattern cut and made in it's assigned color. I also delegated tasks to over-hire staff and stitchers.

I worked as First Hand on the Marketplace Girls in Aladdin, which will open on Broadway this March. Each girl had a unique corset, skirt and pants. Each was hand painted in house. The level of detail and embellishment far surpassed anything I have worked on.

First Hand duties include: tracing patterns on fabric and leather, cutting, and ponging the leather into shape. The construction include: corset, leather chaps, jumpsuit and leotard.

‘Candy Cane’

First Hand duties include: multi-layered and pleated brocade skirts and  attached underwear.

This is one of two girls that represent Degas ballerinas that come to life as a part of the new Rockettes Spring Show. I work as First Hand on these girls and a few others that are in a prototype stage at the moment

All the lace on this garment has a picot edge. This means in order to have it sent out all the tracing must be done in a UV pencil. Drawing with UV pencil on white present some challenges and is a fairly lengthy process.

Construction Includes: all wire bending and soldering to create the inner structure of each piece of the fan. In order to create a balance between being lightweight, rigid, and resilient, I had to draw from old samples of construction and also engineer better ways to create the infrastructure of the fan.

The soldered wire is stitched to reinforced fabric and covered with shibori fabric.

This Trickster was made for the new Lion King production in Australia. 

Each monkey has a hand painted unitard with appliqué, and muscles that fit that specific actor. I've worked as a First Hand on two or three monkeys now.

Construction Includes:

Black Velvet Coat worn by Thomas Hampson as Scarpia in Tosca. The coat is made of a quilted black velvet and is fully lined.

Black Burnout Velvet Dress and Dickie worn by a female chorus member in King Roger. The dress is made of two layers, the bottom a light blue taffeta, the top a black burnout velvet.

Construction includes mock-ups and alterations.
